What Happens When Clouds Make Tear Drops
Then the forest floor said, “ I heard that and I will help the leaf so you can roll yourself to
To the forest floor, roll yourself to me
So the forest floor gave a great big shake a mighty earthquake
A great big heave
A gra va ra boom
And the tree rose up and the leaf flew up
And coming down the leaf did a terwilly in the wind
Well down went the drop
The tiny tiny drop
And he came to the end of the leaf and
Stopped
Now with so much wind the tiny tiny drop called as loudly as he could to the leaf
I know the end is near
But it is not the end you called for I fear
The air got me
Not the forest floor you see
And
Zip
He
Was
Gone
The tiny tiny drop who hand reached the end of the leaf was gone
So much time had passed on this hot hot day that the drop and trail had evaporated
3/3 of the way down the leaf
3/3
One
Whole
Way
Down
The
Leaf
“Ahhhh” sighed the leaf, “that felt so good.’
“Boooo Hoooo.” Said the forest floor, “Now I have to wait and anticipate, the when of
The next rain coming
I can only hope really really hope it is a big drop rain so satisfying

What Happens When Clouds Make Tear Drops
Down below on the forest floor an elephant called up and said
“I heard that. Yes he can make you drop and I will give him a little help. I am hungry
You see and need food for me and the tree has some very nice apples. So I will bump
The tree and he will feed me and the drop will roll off the leaf.”
So he bumped the tree once. A mighty big bump the leaf gave amighty big shiver. Well
That is all it took to feed the elephant well, but the drop stayed on the leaf
Because he was so small
Though he did roll another 1/3 of the way down the leaf
Now the leaf was a fair sized leaf and oval in his leafiness shape and his down side came
To a point. Now the point of this leaf was to point the way for the tiny drop to roll roll
Roll an drop to the forest floor. And feed the tree at his drip line. This is how trees
Feed their roots, but since it was so dry the tiny drop only rolled so far and left a little of
Himself on the trail down the leaf. He then became smaller, even smaller then before.
The leaf said, "That felt good." Now said the leaf only a little way more to go you’re
2/3 of the way down to the forest floor and now you can roll some more.
“No,” said the drop, “Now I am way to small to roll some more and here is where I will
Stop.”
Then the forest floor said, “ I heard that and I will help the leaf so you can roll yourself

What Happens When Clouds Make Tear Drops (c)
A tiny little cloud was making way around the world when he stumbled upon a forest on a tiny island
The sheer beauty of it brought a tear to his eye and the tear fell away from the cloud
The little tiny tear drop lit gently on the top of a leaf
It was not a large leaf
Just a fair size leaf
But a leaf that grew on a very large tree
And the leaf was at the top of the tree
The leaf said to the drop,
“You feel good.’
But I know your going to drop.
You are going to roll all the way to the bottom of my leafiness and
Drop to the forest floor
The drop said, “No I am not,
I m to small you can’t make me drop.”
The Wind came along and said,” I heard that yes he can make you drop
And I will give him a little help.”
Then the wind tickled the leaf and the leave gave a little quiver and the drop rolled just
A little bit, about 1/3 of the way down the leaf and stopped.
Now the drop looked back and saw that he had left a little of himself on the top part of the
Leaf and now he was a third of the down the leaf and he was smaller by 1/3
The leaf said you feel good and leaving the trail felt even better.
But I know your going to drop to the forest floor.
“No I am not,” said the drop, because now I am even smaller.” You can’t make me fall
Eeeeer or can you.”
